1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the busride.in website and services. By using our platform, you acknowledge and accept these Terms in full.


2. Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to busride.in.

  • “User” means you, the individual registering or using the service.

  • “Bus Operator” means the third-party transport provider fulfilling the travel booking.


3. Role & Limitation of Liability

busride.in is a digital platform that enables Users to book bus services from third-party Bus Operators.

We do not operate or control any buses, nor do we provide transportation services ourselves.

All details such as schedules, fares, amenities, availability, routes, and operational decisions are the responsibility of the respective Bus Operators.

Accordingly, busride.in shall not be held liable for:

  • Delays or rescheduling,

  • Misinformation regarding routes or amenities,

  • Loss of baggage,

  • Service disruptions or failures by the Operator.

The maximum liability of busride.in is strictly limited to the refund of the booking amount actually received by us.


4. Your Obligations as a User

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete personal details during the booking process.

  • You must carry valid identity proof for boarding when requested by the Operator.

  • You are required to report at the boarding point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.

  • Bookings made are strictly non-transferable and must be used only by the named passenger.


5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation is permitted only via the platform or by contacting customer support.

  • Cancellation charges may apply and will be specified at the time of booking.

  • No refund will be provided for no-shows or partially used trips.

  • If canceled at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure, a partial refund may be applicable, excluding convenience or service fees.

  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.


6. Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling of booked travel is allowed only if supported by the respective Bus Operator.

  • Rescheduling must be done through the platform and may include additional charges or fare differences.

  • Each booking can be rescheduled only once.


7. Insurance, Safety & Additional Services

  • Travel insurance, if offered, is optional and handled by third-party providers. Any claims or disputes related to insurance must be resolved with the insurance provider directly.

  • Safety measures such as sanitization, masking, and onboard hygiene are implemented by Bus Operators. busride.in does not guarantee or monitor these measures.


8. Content, Intellectual Property & Communication

  • All content displayed on the busride.in platform—including logos, text, images, and software—is the intellectual property of busride.in or its content partners and is protected under applicable copyright laws.

  • You agree not to reproduce or misuse any part of the platform’s content without prior written permission.

  • By registering or booking, you authorize us to contact you via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or phone call for updates, feedback, and promotional offers, even if your number is registered under DND/NDNC.


9. Complaints & Grievances

  • If you experience service issues, delays, cancellations, or unsatisfactory behavior during your journey, you may raise a complaint within 10 days of travel.

  • Complaints received after this period may not be considered.

  • busride.in will assist you in communicating with the Operator but does not guarantee resolution for matters beyond our control.


10. Modification of Terms

These Terms may be modified or updated by busride.in at any time. Continued use of the platform after such updates will be deemed as your acceptance of the revised Terms.


11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Insert City, e.g., Mumbai or Bengaluru].
